This school is okay. This school is very packed and you have to squish through people to get to class on time.

I attended Pinecrest Glades Academy throughout high school and have experienced amazing service. The education granted by the teachers is spectacular and the care and respect given is amazing. The cultural diversity between the students is seemingly equal and everyone is treated as such.

To the parents reading this review do yourself and your child a favor and stay far away from this school.
1.When you have a school with a high turnover in educators=red flag.
2.When you have a Charter School accepting application ALL YEAR long=BIG Red flag
3.When you have a school that doesn't communicate to parents via standard email re: school updates, activities, potential threats to the school=Red flag
4.When as a parent you are expected to check Facebook, Instagram or a parent chat group to be updated on ANYthing related to the school.
5.When the PTA aka PAL are the same people year after year for a K-12 over 1,700 students and there are ZERO changes to the PTA because the same "moms" get voted year after year. =Red Flag
6.The drop off and pick up is INSANELY disorganized. implement. Upper school kids start at 7:30AM No one follows the rules. Parents drop off/ pick up their children on the side of the road as kids cross a very busy street with NO crosswalk.

I’m so excited about the positive, overdue changes that this beautiful campus is experiencing. Although the principal is new to this Pinecrest school, she has successfully planted & grown over 3 other Academica locations over the past 2+ decades. She is an excellent leader & knows how to build & bring out the best in her team. She has always created, and is now again creating a well rounded environment where the students are truly top priority.Academics come first but emphasis is placed on making the learning experience a joyful one for all. The administrative team & teachers work tirelessly to provide optimal programs for all students at every academic level. Family involvement is encouraged in the academic journey & volunteer opportunities as well as an open door communication policy is the standard. This school provides an excellent education from pre-K4 through 12th grade! At PGA we have found the most passionate & dedicated teachers. We are thrilled to have our kids here!

It's aight. They should definitely add more sports clubs to get us involved more. The teachers are pretty good, there are 2 bad teachers. Science and math. Well, math teacher is not even that bad. Food is pretty good. Tech teacher is the best teacher. Administration is ALRIGHT. They are kinda rude sometimes. Music teacher is ehh, art teacher is hella strict. Safety is good, no one has been injured. Facilities are alright, but I think they should separate middle and high. Every teacher does teach at a good, and understandable pace.

The School is like the Outlet Mall of Schools. It has many buildings Elementary thru High School, but that says it all. There’s a reason to separate different levels of education. The teachers and education are mediocre at best.

PGA truly need a new set of administration that cares for the students and prepared them properly with out adding so many unnecessary classes that end up not helping the students . In addition, the communion is really poor, and anything that is brought about regarding a teacher or the school is completely ignored . Nevertheless, most of the teachers that are hired truly have no background in what they are being put to teach and some of the classes are important for the students to perform well. Not all the teachers specially in secondary are as amazing as administrators ends up putting them to be . PGa truly needs to get sport , more activities not just overwhelming the kids with so many thing which it might work for some and for other it might not work the same . Teachers love to put grades late so by the time you find out , a failure letter is going home or when you try to find out how to help out your child teachers at that school don’t help at all and give an excuse. Avoid PGA!

Pinecrest Glades is truly a disappointment. The illusion of what it could've been is painted when you see the campus and when they talk it up, but they have nothing to offer. This covid year has only shown everyone the reality of how terrible it is at this school. Although there are many wonderful teachers, they have no support from administration and in turn are completely burnt out. It has zero to offer kids and they struggled exponentially in getting students to come back to campus because the students do not have anything to look forward to. The academics are subpar, and students in the upper grades are thrown into classes that end up being overwhelming for them because they are not properly prepared. It is a beautiful campus and has the potential to be great under new administration.

Worst school ever. Administration is terrible. Liberal beyond teaching. No empathy at all. Military style everything. Covid made it worse. Don’t put your kids here.

Could be a better school. Most of the teachers are un-experienced and they don't even know what they are doing half of the time.
